If this was me, I would keep taking your supplements.
Don't know how long you have to collect your urine for or if it is just a spot check?
When hubby took oral DMSA he usually got a headache about an hour after he took it -- think this was at peak dose of med, but would have to research half-life.
Don't think results would be much different on Day 1 or Day 3. Actually have never heard of doing a heavy metal test this way. The way hubby's former doc explained it to him was that the DMSA loosens up the mercury and then the DMPS binds to it so it can be excreted.
Seems like every doc has a different protocol and choice of chelating agent.
I hope you have already had your fillings removed. Don't believe in chelating until dental work is done.

LLMD, called and suggested after day 3. His theory is that the metals need to be mobilized from within the tisue, not the blood. Hence, the test will register better after day 3.
