I've stopped abx for 3+weeks, then did Diflucan for 2 wks. and now am on Flagyl for 1 month. I see the LLMD tomorrow.

I am wondering if by going off abx. allowing the ketes to come out of cyst form, starting the Flagyl and then adding the abx later might be a way of "trapping" them so that they would have trouble going back into cyst form and thereby be more thoroughly killed by the abx?

Anyone had any experience with this protocol? I'm not sure this is what the LLMD has in mind. It is my 1st time on Flagyl.

Just a thought.

I think that's the idea! Beware of severe herxes. Don't overdo!
