I guess my first comment has to be that the disease is "Lyme disease", not "Lymes disease". Sorry. This is a pet peeve of many of us.
I have read that there are documented cases of transmission of Lyme from the mother to the fetus via the placenta, I believe.
If you are not yet pregnant, IMO, you should not become pregnant.
If you are already pregnant, get thee to an LLMD who can do whatever is possible to reduce the likelihood of transmssion.
You may want to use the search engine to find more information as this topic has been discussed at some length in the past.
I am sure that others will come along with more information, though.

I totally disagree. I say that if you want to have a baby, talk it over with your dr. You cant let life just completely stop when you have this dam illness.
I have a beautiful two year old. I got preggo with her while being sick and I wouldn't change anything. Fortunately for me she is very healthy.

I think that you should indeed talk with your LLMD and get on some abx. ASAP. It has been shown that when the mother stays on abx throughout her pregnancy this is the best way to lower your chances of transmission to baby. I have had chronic lyme for years and I have a healthy 2 year old. (Thank you Jesus!)

I unfortunately passed congenetial lyme to two of my three daughters. I didn't get diagnosed until after I had my third daughter though. What makes me really mad is that before I got pregnant with daughter #2 I asked my doctor to test me for lyme because I suspected it after a tick bite and a later bullseye rash. This was back in 1991 and my doctor said "we don't have lyme disease in California", so he wouldn't test me. I wish I could sue that doctor after what my daughter has been through because of his stupidity!

We still "don't have Lyme in California" according to a lot of docs I have to see (except my LLMD, of course).
Which is interesting as the CDC says we have had it since the 70s. And San Diego Health Dept. sent out a warning in their monthly physician bulletin in 2001 (?) that doctors should be on the look out for it in their patients.
