After babesia treatment, has anyone found that when they went to treat lyme, that they had to take a lower dosage of antibiotics due to too much herxing?

Before the 3 months of babesia treatment, I could take a higher dosage of antibiotics, now I have to take a lower dosage due to exsessive herxing. I asked the LLMD he did not know.

ODD.

I am also in a state where my nerves just cannot tolerate any kind of herxing, just cant take it like I will collapse and die.

Just a suggestion, not sure but could it be magnesium or B12 deficiency?

I find the Lyme, meds and herxing are tough on the body and sometimes nutrient depletion is caused as a result.

My LLMD recently got me to take NTFactor to help this after I was run down from Babesia meds. So NT Factor can help if you have mitochondrial dysfunction too. It has really helped me.

Dear Trish,
I have NOT been treated yet for babesia as my first app. with llmd is at the end of the month.I was curious as to what antibiotic(s) you are on.I am doing doxy and the emotional herx from that makes me feel far more fragile than I truely am.It often seems when I look back I recall moments of shear panic and anxiety that I would normally not have. Now of course things are much better and I realize its the bugs causing the mental mayhem.I try to brace myself whenever they add or change something.I wish this werent happening but feel youll be getting better soon. Hi Health

Maybe you have too many toxins from herxing from babs? You may want to ask your doctor for something to take for getting rid of the toxins that build up from herxing.

The babs herx's I did where rough to say the least. But when I stopped I was still so toxic it took at least 2 months for the herx to clear.

Do a search here on detox.

I hope you can feel better soon.

Hi,

After I was treated for Babs last year, I felt better than ever. I was then treated with CSM for toxins and felt better yet.

I started Ketek and did very well for about 4 months then added minocycline. Started having heart issues with the mino and now I can't take any abx/antivirul protocol. Have tried Ketek alone, mino alone, diflucan alone.

I still have Bartonella that hasn't been treated. I feel like the Babs may be back a bit too. Have had consistent mycoplama +'s. Also, my IgM and IgG 23 kDa is always + and ELISA is always +.

I'm currently not under treatment except for the times I try to follow LLMD's rx of ramping up mino. She's been pushing the mino since last summer. I just don't know who to turn to next.

Hope this helps,

Corgilla

Do you think it could be possible that the babs treatment really kick-started your own immune system to fight the infection, so the level of abx needed is less? Just a thought. I know this can happen with "run away" herxing.
