Ok, I have heard that you can contract Lyme from not only the deer tick, but possibly from fleas, sandfleas, biting flies, other types of ticks, sexual transmission, and passed through pregnancy. Does anyone know of any truth to any of this?
I brought this up to my PCP when I originally went for Lyme testing and he said no way! I never asked my LLMD, though.
I would really be interested in reading up on any research that supports any of the above. Anyone have any comments to this? Thanks!!
