A toxic poison that has damaged our family and ruined my daughter's life. It has also made some Ducks famous and lined many pockets. Other words that I could use may get me booted off the board.

I think that MS is caused by a prion due to research I have been doing, and if this is the caase MS should be treated with antiobiotics.

Prion is enviro and is really nasty.

Also, there is an upcoming cure for MS and it is being proven in a USC trial, phase II.

We need more strides for LD.

John.

Very funny Dave!!!!

I heard lyme described as: "an incurable polysymptomatic disease that is a political football." I did not coin this phrase, but it is accurate.

(I think the credit goes to Lymie Tony Z.)

A fabrication originating from quack doctors effectively giving them a license to coin money by means of long term treatment and kickbacks.

A truly mixed blessing --

I've learned a lot from this disease, made a great friend as a result of it, and appreciate each day of greater-wellness as a result of having suffered for so long.

At the same time, it robbed me of many, many things I'd likely have enjoyed had I not been so ill....

Say WHAT?

I'll assume this is a joke until proven otherwise.

Thanks everybody for your input.

Most are emotional however quite welcome.

Seems that Lyme would have multiple definition from each of you.

So could you give more than one definition for Lyme?

We could put this on top, cuz it is important.

Hi folks...I could have sworn I had a post somewhere on here...

could be lyme brain...

Anyway...yeah Robi...I'll take credit for polysymptomatic disease that is a political football...

BUT I refuse to believe it is INCUREABLE...

We just have'nt four it's natural or manufactured enemy...
There's got to be one...a yn has a yang, an up a down,a right and wrong, a stimulus and response,an action and re-action...

a disease and a cure....!

I too have made the statement that dieing would be a welcome relief...however

IF GOD has allowed the devil to give me this disease...HE may have a reason...HE has not revealed to me as yet...

IF the talking heads have to come crashing down before we get our answers or remedy...

than so be it!

OK< I'm now stepping off my soapbox...zman

Lyme disease has ruined most of our lives for decades before we were correctly diagnosed and treated.

We've each been treated with the "pass the buck" to the next MD or specialist. Instead of someone really getting serious about us, and finding that "needle in the haystack" approach.

Lyme has robbed me of 36 years and 32 of them of NOT having had QUALITY LIFE with my husband. He's never known me healthy to date.

The lymenet family has embraced one another; providing educational, emotional, and support for one another. These members have become our true friends since they ARE walking in our shoes.

We don't wear our lyme disease on the outside; it's inside only, and boy do we hate this phrase, "but you look so good and healthy!" [toilet]

Lyme disease is a subset of a much more pervasive "epidemic borrelia". The interactions between borrelia and man (mammals) has gone on for millenia. "Lyme" borrelia contain genetic defects causing inflamation and thus disease. Most other borrelia have learned the fine art of stealthiness. To help understand this concept I recommend the link below.

M = Money
E = Evaporate
