If you have received the Lyme vaccine, is it possible to get a valid positive test result on a western blot? I was told you could but from what I have read about dirty blots, I am confused.

It is my understanding that the vaccine antigens were eliminated from the CDC list of bands that were to be considered in LD surveillance. Which is why it is important to use labs that report on all bands and to consider the vaccine status of the patient.
