Not even a week after starting I got tendonitus in wrist that was pretty bad for almost a month. everything is fine now. I guess I cant be sure leviquin caused it but they say it does and I never had it before, so.

Did you have to stop your medication to heal it?

I took it for 2 months. Didn't have any side effects but I didnt feel much positive from it either. I tested positive for bart which is why I was treated with levaquin.

Took lev for 60 days.

Cleared up

90% dizzyness
100% brain fog
night sweats
insomnia

side effects:
Added SOME dizzyness (different kind of dizzyness)
after 40 days, Felt like I tore a muscle in my back(went away)
After 50 days - Felt like I broke my ankle, couldnt walk on it for 2 days...
AT 60 days doctor took me off due to tendon side effects, but it did help me get better.

Was switched too rifampin... so far Rifampin for almost 60 days NO side effects at all.

It helped me a lot and I had no side effects from it. Wicked herxheimer reaction though. I was treated with it for mycoplasma fermentans.

I really improved on Levaquin. I did have major pain, particularly in my legs and feet, while on it.

I took Levaquin for salmonella, which can cause a reactive arthritis. But from the herxes I think I also had bart.

It chewed up my stomach in three weeks, I can't tolerate it at all. Rifampin worked fine, though.

I was on it. I couldn't get past the tendon pain it caused so they took me off of it. Other people definately swear by it though!

Ditto, 2 weeks and I was limping. Tried to hang on but switched to Rifampin to spare my sore legs.

I was on it for 9 weeks without any problems and it helped with lots of symptoms. Now many months later I am on it again with ceftin since the shin pain has still been a herx symptom.

It is possible that people who took larger doses had more side effects and people who took small doses had easy time but didn't improve.

Tell us what were your doses if you can remember.
