Hello, I am on my quest to get well. I am trying to get all of the toxins out of my body. I am on a

juice fast. It will be three days tomorrow. I have found that I have great willpower when I need

it. I also have a pill set that I bought to help in detox. I am going to start taking that

medicine tomorrow. I felt that as long as I am on this juice fast then why not look into other

things that could help the detox process. I know many of you have done this and I would like your input on fasting and detoxing in general.

Thank You

What kind of juice are you drinking, vegtable I hope?

I have been working on detoxing too. At some point you will need to consider metals and that protocol.

For general detoxing it is important to get your digestive tract moving well, this means lots of green vegtables and plenty of clean water.

Now that you are moving stuff through quickly it is important not to add any more toxins or irritants. This would contridict your efforts. Any known or suspected food sensitivies need to be eliminated. All chemicals like artificial sweetners and colors, preservatives and chlorine and flouride on the water are out. So is sugar in all forms.

Now your body can begin to heal itself. Adding milk thistle and dandilion tea to stimulate the liver is good. Also adding a good probiotic will help re-establish the gut flora so healing can begin is important.

These are basic common sense things. It is about getting the balance of your system back.

Sweat at least once a day, if you are too sick to excercise, take a sauna. Take a shower immediately after sweating. Vitamin B12 shots. Yoga yoga yoga. Detox bath - 1 cup epsom salts,
1/2 cup baking powder, 1/3 cup hydrogen peroxide. Sounds like you have a positive attitude which is the most important ingredient!!
Good luck!

Here's a post on detoxing

http://flash.lymenet.org/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=1;t=040134

Here's tincups detox tea recipe:

http://flash.lymenet.org/scripts/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=1&t=040193

Some other quick ways of detox are:
coffee enemas
warm baths to break a gentle sweat
drinking more water

Take care and make sure to talk over everything you read here first with your LLMD
