Just when I was starting to think that I was making some headway...I woke up this morning with the right side of my throat hurting.
Its not horrible or anything, but its there. I'm guzzling airborne and sucking on cold eeze like its my life.
I'm basically wondering whether this is the onset of a cold (it hasn't gotten any worse since this morning) or if any of you have occassional sore throats as a symptom?
Its only on the right side, for now that is. I'm nervous about taking too much cold eeze and airborne since my stomach is so sensitive

also have another question, didn't want to start a new topic for it...
Sometimes it feels as thought there is a 'vapor' coming out of my stomach or lungs. I don't know how to describe it other than it feels like when I exhale there is some kind of thickness or vapor/gassy feeling to it...
it sometimes occurs along with my sleep apnea, which for me is when I try to go to sleep, I'll fall asleep and my lungs will just stop breathing, like they get lazy.
anyone else have this? Its hard to describe it accurately.

I just had a my left side of the throat hurt for probably two days. Did not turn into a cold, so it could very well be a symptom. Are the lymph nodes inflamed? In my case the left one in the throat was.
I also suffer from the sleep apnea but right now I can't recall anything like the vapors you describe.

the lymph node on my neck (right side) swelled up a year ago and never went back to normal...so its there now, but not tender to the touch.

Ther are many things that can cause sore throught. For me, it was often candida overgrowth, thrush. Other times it was swollen lymph nodes etc along with it, a viral thing. I was much more suceptible to these before I started treatment

Well, I have had throat pain on my left side for at least nine months now without any answer. It is hard to describe but it isn't sore like a raw throat...it hurts when I swallow but not on the inside. It hurts on the outside, almost like it is an enlarged gland or thyroid? Bizarre.

I have almost constant swelling on the right side of the throat, sometimes a little sore, and little pieces of food get caught there sometimes. I'm not sure what is causing it and I'm not sure what to do about it. I've had it ever since I got lyme.

thrpat still sore, but now its sore and achey at the base of the throat (bout an inch or two up from where it connects to my chest). Its actually sore there when I press on it too.
Could this be from the doxy? I've been on it for 3 weeks. Stopped taking it for a day, haven't noticed any improvement.
Also getting right sided jaw, face pain and pressure.
Is it possible I have some sort of sinus or tooth infection? Wouldn't doxy prevent that? Too many symptoms Posts: 594 | From NJ/NY | Registered: Jun 2006

Throat pain was one of the main pains dd had that led to a Lyme diagnosis. I kept thinking she had strep throat or a sinus infection (drainage). They cultured her for strep and it was negative. Her throat was mostly sore in the morning so we thought sinus infection except that she never had a cough to go with the drainage. She doesn't describe her pains very well so, I couldn't tell you what they felt like. Anyway, the sore throats are better since starting antibiotics except when she is Herxing.
