I have been on Doxy at 400 MGs a day for about a week. About 3 days ago I had the beginning of what I think is a herx, weird lightheadedness, a little vertigo, weird buzzing feeling on and off, sole pain. For the last two days i have had a sensation of hands pushing my skull together in different places all over my head and hands pushing on my face.

I have never had this and it is non-stop and weird, plus two very extreme heart palp episodes. Is this a herx? and how long do these last usually. It's really weird feeling. Thank you

Yup, you're herxing. Had similar symptoms when I herxed. Duration varies. With me sometime it only lasted a few days (usually) to more than a week. Then things get somewhat better until the next cycle.

Doxy'll do you that way.

Known to increase intercranial pressure.

Crosses the blood-brain barrier. Any critters living up there are likely to bite the dust. Brain pain is likely to ensue; whether from infection/inflammation of the meninges or neurotoxin release from Bb is unknown; perhaps even both.

It can last a few days. For me, it would last weeks.

Wishing you luck. Hang in there. Sounds like definite herxing to me!

Michelle
