It's as powerful as some anti-biotics, I've read that, try Sarspirilla. Also, follow all of "jwf's" replies on this thread, it's a great herbal regiment for treating lyme.

I personally do not think it can kill Lyme, but do think it can be very effective against Candida. Hubby took this for several months to prevent diarrhea from antibiotics.

Seems like I did read a thread somewhere about either olive leaf or oil of oregano being used for Lyme -- the doses mentioned were very high -- something like 1 or 2 capsules every hour or two -- at those doses it might actually be of benefit. Hubby only took 1 or 2 capsules per day.

If you are interested in alternatives to antibiotics, strongly suggest you buy the new Healing Lyme book. A lot of scientific research supports the suggested protocol.

Stick with Buhner's Healing Lyme book protocols.

I didn't always, and got into trouble.

I used both Olive Leaf AND Oregano, but am NOT using either one right now. Oregano IS very strong, but enough is not know about it to know IF it is compatible with Buhner's protocols. So for now at least, I would rather let them sit and not use them at all.

I took both my twins off of antibiotics in Jan. because their bodies were being overrun by fungus and other side effects. We started a regimin of Olive leaf extract and Mesosilver colloidal silver when symptoms began to return and have had great results! I met a woman online who has treated her entire family using only the colloidal silver and they are all back to normal activity and health. She said it took 2 years for the healing process to be complete, but they had no side effects to worry about. God Bless.
