I did a search, but did not get many results for the keyword alinia. Is anyone taking this ABX? If so, have you had any side effects? Does it seem to be helping. Just wondering what sort of experience anyone has had with this ABX since my doc mentioned it to me today.
Thanks, Jill

I have been taking it now for about a month and a half, I'm at a FFC Center, they're always up to date with these things. My Doc told me to start it instead of Flagyl. It took a while to tster working but its really settled my brina down. The only problem for me is that it turned my **** a radioactive yellow. Any drops stains. Eww. Other than that I think it worked a bit better than flagyl, just remember to take it with food, it increases absorbtion by 50%!!!

Thank you for the info. I have 2 docs working together on my "case" and one of them thinks I should take Alinia, the other thinks Tindamax or Flagyl. Kind of scared of all 3 ABX. I thought I read somewhere that Alinia had the potential to cause fewer side effects. Have not seen many posts on this board about it.

My doc uses it only with reference to parasites/worms and not longer than 20 days, but at high doses. Be sure you assist your liver/gallbladder/colon, because it is tough stuff. And be prepared for the metal fallout, whether you believe you carry any or not.
Take care.

I have been doing the prep work that GiGi mentions with metal detox, colon detox, etc. and am starting Alinia next month.
