I never saw a bulls eye from my bite (over 2.5 years ago) because it was on my head.

I had some rashes on my feet and toes. Not bullseye, but round, red and spreading. Made my foot swell. This is now mostly gone with treatment. Dermatologist had no idea what it was ..... looks autoimmune she said ( this was before I knew I had Lyme.)

Anyway ........... here's really the point of this post. A week or so ago, I had a small (quarter size) round rash on my arm. Had a slight clearing in the center. It was not raised or red. Came and went in like 3 days.

As it was fading, it turned yellowish, like a healing/fading bruise. Would an EM or bullseye turn yellowish as it fades or was this just a bruise???

I had a bullseye "bruise", not rash, about 2 months ago. It lasted less than a week and as it faded, it turned yellow as well.

I haven't had any symptoms whatsoever, but I did test positive for Lyme and Babs WA-1 through Igenex. I've been on antibiotics for 2 months now without any Herx reactions or even regular symptoms.

It's starting to make me second guess my diagnosis...

Thanks for talking about this, guys.

My husband had a very circular strange bruise on his upper arm about a year before he began with pronounced neuro symptoms.

This worried us so much (especially because we had seen a tick on him--not imbedded, just crawling) that I made him see an "on-call" doc (it was a Sat. isn't it always?) not in our PCP practice.

This guy made us feel like a couple of flakes. He did nothing but look at the circle and pronounce it a bruise. I have always wondered about that bruise because it just looked strange.

Sojourner, did you your husband's bruise originate from a bite?

Mine did. It looked like a mosquito bite (especially since I had multiple itchy bites in the same proximity). However, only one developed the bullseye bruise a day or two after the initial bite showed up. I'm still fairly convinced that my bite originated from a mosquito, not a tick.
