Does anyone have a problem passing out? I've been having problems the past two weeks where I guess I've pushed myself too far and totally passed out. I went to the ER after it happened twice and they told me nothing. Other then it shouldn't be happening and all my levels are "normal". With all the other problems that I've been having this throws me over the top! I have two kids at home (2&7) who have a Mom who can bearly get off the couch, now I can't even go for a walk because of fear of passing out. (let alone drive a car!) I just want to know if this is related to the Lymes or I need to go screaming to my doc for more tests (sigh) My LLMD apt (the first one) is in August. Please Help!

Hey Pixie- so does mean you have found an LLMD ? Glad to hear you have an appointment.

You may have answered your own question about passing out- when you pushed yourself too far.
I have learned to do a lot of things is slow motion. Especially when I am at the top of the stairs. I go slow and always make sure I have something to hang onto.

Passing out could be atributable to many different factors. Standing up too fast, bloof prerssure, low salt, low blood sugar, irregular heart rythyms (as in my case)now controlled with medication. Your LLMD will probably have a few speculations herself.

Glad you have an appointment,
Carol

Hi flln_pixie,

I know how frustrating this can be, especially when you have children you are trying to take care of. I think it is good you had some tests done, you want to make sure your heart is okay..etc.

I have passed out, but more times I come real close to it. Had lots of tests done and everything comes out fine, so for me it is the Lyme/Babesia. If I feel weak, like I am about to pass out, I sit/lay down until it passes.

I hope you find out exactly what is going on and this symptom goes away for you.

Hang in there, it gets better, just slowly.

Hi,

3 weeks ago I also just got to the point of passing out (collaped, things closing in etc), went to ER, they found nothing.

I then had the feeling of passing out virtually daily for about 10 days.

It turns out I had a gut infection (but no fever, etc), which probably was the cause. Am taking abx for that infection now.

Hope you find your cause.

Thank you all very much! It's been happening daily, and I know I shouldn't push myself so hard, but I feel like I can never get anything done because of being so tired all the time and now this! Yes, I at last have an appointment. I go in Monday to get my referral then I have an appointment the end of August! It will be so nice at last to have someone work with me! My heartbeat is irregular, but my heart is structurally fine. (I have been to see a cardiologist) That I think is the only reason I'm not freaking out about passing out all the time. I do try to lay down but, sometimes I still pass out even laying down. I get really hot before it all happens. Kinda like my hot and cold flashes I've been having, but it lasts longer. At least I having a warning to stop. I found if I take a nap in the middle of the afternoon with my daughter this happens less (yeah naps!) Thank you all again.
