Dear Members of the List:

I have real bad news for the Lyme Community at large-on top of everything else that has happened to us they have gone and done kicked me upstairs. I am now the President of the Lyme Disease Network of South Carolina. Sounds a lot more impressive than it is. I guess they figure if the inusrance racket gets mad at somebody other than Joe Jemsek they can throw me to the wolves and BC/BS will get indigestion at least and my demise would be no great loss. Sacrificial Rancid Pork Chop, that is what I am.

So in order to fight this fight losing or not I need information and I need names. I have heard all kinds of third and fourth hand information about what the ruling of the IDIOT Medical PIMP board means and all kinds of horror stories already about what the putrid money grubbing tapeworms at BCBS have done, are doing or are contemplating doing to the patients of Dr. Jemsek, not to mention the poor man himself. If anybody is an honest to God heroic character in all of this it is the good doctor himself.

So if you are a lyme patient in South Carolina or know of the names of lyme patients in SC and most certainly the names tel numbers and addresses, e mail and otherwise of patients of Dr. Jemsek would you please either e mail me, or telephone and leave a message if we do not answer on the lyme disease network hot line at

803-798-LYME (5963). Or you may write us at

Lyme Disease Network of South Carolina
P.O. Box 6634
Columbia, SC 29260-6634

WE NEED YOU NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is urgent that we get in communication with as many people as possible. You may not understand it but this goes far beyond Dr. Jemsek and his unfortunate patients. This is what these fools intend as the national standard for Lyme Disease. Basically no diagnosis in at least 50-70% of the cases and no IV treatment and only very limited oral antibiotics, at the most for the rest.

The whole sick shoody manuver has nothing to do with medicine, nothing to do with science and certainly nothing to do with helping sick people. The whole set up is nothing but insurance fraud. It is all about saving Blue Cross/Blue Shield and the other insurance companies money. And what they have succeeded in doing in North Carolina they are going to be doing everywhere they can get away with it. With the result of countless thousands of sick and dying people. Even a cornered rabbit will turn and fight. So go and have yourself a carrot and then GET ON THAT PHONE. Cheers. Thomas Parkman.

Thomas,

Congrats on your promotion.

I am doing here in NC what you are doing in SC. I am pulling together info and names/contact info of people interested in working against BCBS. So if anyone from NC contacts you, please send them my way.

One question I have for you .. BCBS has many different facets including the State Health Plan here in NC for teachers and state employees, the federal employee plan, and NC BCBS. I am unsure if the same group of idiots makes all claims decisions for the entire BCBS or if each segment is handled differently. Do you happen to know? I put out an inquiry to patients to contact me and it seems they are under BCBS, but several different programs.

Is it the same in SC?

You know what I think? I think BCBS was the one that started all this. As you said, it is all about $$$ and they do not care if we rot in the streets. I am hearing the same stories as you. Some who had written approval from BCBS had those very claims denied. It was no accident that the board called anything over 2 months "research". That one statement gave any and all insurance companies the way out of paying claims.

I certainly hope we can prove collusion. We will see.

Feel free to contact me and we can join forces and share ideas for the battle (war) we are about to fight.

Take care...

Connie

Dear Members,

The rancid pork chop is taking this back to the top. I need information. I have had some responses. From what I have learned the pimps on the Medical Board are being even cleaverer and nastier than I thought they had the intelligence to be. You see Jemsek is not now giving out prescriptions. He has not yet recieved instructions from the medical board. I suspect they are going to take their own good time to send them to him. In the meantime the insurance companies are not going to pay for any treatment for any patient that goes to him.

Further no doctor in North Carolina certainly is going to even touch anybody with a case that might even be suspected of being Lyme disease. Of course in SC they are not treating anybody in anycase. So the insurance cos will have accomplished what they have always wanted. They have abolished Lyme disease. Which means if you are sick, get yourself to an internet pharmacy that does not require prescriptions, or to an understanding vet for dog and cat antibiotics (the veteranarians know 1,000 more than the duck dung for brains doctors) or get to an underground doctor or GO ON "VACATION TO MEXICO because the frauds with MD after their names are going to sit there and watch you die and because the ducks and the insurance cos are not going to do a damn thing for you. That would cost money. And God forbid that they should do something, anything that would cost money to treat Lyme Disease. Lovely.
