hello everyone, after i survived my first mri yesterday i'm now in the waiting game. no calls from the doctors office today, although the phone range a zillion times and i panicked each time.
no neurology call. i would HOPE that if their was something wrong, they would at least have the courtesy to call.
i mean don't these doctors get a heads up of "oh my god look at this mri", so now i'll wait all day tomorrow and hope i don't get a call as i don't think they call to say, hey good news...my appt with neurologist is monday and they better not hit me with "big news" if i show up alone.
so now i think is it lyme or am i imagining these things...i've been on so many message boards i could scream,
i hate being a nurse sometimes as i know way too much, awful stuff sometimes but i can't help myself. i've been googling ms, lupus, als, syringomyleia, cancer, panic attacks, etc.
but a question, does anyone ever get confused as to lyme symptoms vs. existing symptoms. after years of kickboxing my knee bothers me intermittenly and i also have piformis syndrome at times. so then i think are these acting up because of lyme or am i just noticing them.
i still feel like my right leg/shoulder act up, i can walk but feel like my right leg is stepping up each time i do and i feel like sometimes my arm just becomes flaccid.
the neck creacking is still there, and now i have back problems but i heard something pull last week and feel like my spine is out of wack.
so i'm just hanging out waiting, and let me say i won't accept a cfs/fribromyalgia diagnosis as someones mentioned to me on one of the health boards. personally i think that is bs. sorry no flames but my feelings
and, if everything with mri is okay i'm going to demand abx and then i will scout down every doctor who misdiagnosed me and have a field day.
gosh, feel so better now.....wish me good vibes and healthy head and spine. karen
