I recently returned from the Costco in TJ,Mexico.I found that not only is it easy to buy and cross the border with meds...I actualy bought precription meds for a friend...without a precription.

I told my friend that I would be compleatly honest and hand them over if asked, but when I showed and told them what I did...nothing.He asked if they were pain meds and I said yes...then I said Im not shure...then off I went, too the land of the free, meds and all!

My next trip Im going to compare prices, allthough Ive allready been told that Costco was the least
expencive.Surprisingly, there was no line and the attendant was happy too reasearch my ABX want-list.

So...now I have to replace Mino.It was the extrocellular ABX on my ABX regime, but they dont have it.The qualifications are 1. NO sun sensitivity(Doxys out) 2.Must cross BBB well(Lots of Nuro). 2.Needles are a last resort(Bicillian looks good as a last resort).

Ceftin is the latest contender...any ideas?
Thanks Alan

Very interesting, Alan. I had heard that abx are available in Mexico over-the-counter, basically, but was not sure if it was true.

I think you are right - Costco has a mark-up policy that keeps their drugs as low-cost as possible. And they even publish their cost information online, which is really helpful.

Can't help with the abx questions.....

Yeah Tracy...I was told that Costco operates out of Panama, and I would think that helps there overhead.
Because most meds are alot less expencive in Mex. Im still going to shop around.
