Does anyone have info in regards to the effectiveness of hyperbaric oxygen against babesia infection?

With mepron? without?

This is a good site for info on HBOT and if you call in for a consult with the founder he can help you make a decision on treatment and advise you. It does cost money for a consult but I just had one and it is worth it. It looks like I'll be heading to do the HBOT treatment soon. I wish you well on your journey conquering Babesia!

Hi Char,

I have been told that HBOT has bacteriocidal effects that should be lethal to the organism at pressures of 45 FSW ( 2.4 ATA) But IMHO lyme and it's co infections respond best to HBO in conjunction to Abx therapy.

So, if you are actively treating the Bab with Abx. Then you should be okay....there are no studies to my knowledge or that I could find on the subject however. The evidence out there is mostly anecdotal.
