Ive been on 25mg of nortriptiline for over a week now. Today, I woke up with some very slight tingling in my arms and hands.
Anyone else have this while on this drug? I have no drug interactions because I already called my pharmacist. Just wondering. This may be another drug I have to give up.

Nancy, I take 20 mg at night before bed along with 100 mg Lyrica 3x/day for the peripheral neuropathy the Flagyl caused. Good Luck, Jill

I know that peripheral neuropathy/paraesthesias (particularly tingling hands and feet) are a symptom of Topamax, which works on somewhat similar systems in the body, I think (don't quote me on that last part)-- I had to quit taking topamax for that very reason. I'd look up side effects on the internet and see if it is listed, even as one of the rare ones -- sometimes drugs will cause side effects in the first couple of weeks that later disappear, too -- particularly ones that work on neurotransmitter systems.

I did decrease the dose last night. Still a little tingling today. I wonder why the tingling? It does effect nuerotransmitters so I wonder if thats what's going on.
