It's one of several treatment possibilities for Babesia, because Babesia is related to malaria (quinine is one of the things used for malaria), but most Babesia treatment is a combination of meds or medications and herb.

See "Parasite impairs immune system cells". You have to get rid of the parasites first.
Quinine and Artemisinin is a good combination and they both are natural and available over the counter!
