Does anyone know if these symptoms are caused by the Mepron or are they from the babs? I have been on mepron/zith for about 6 weeks even though I tested negative for it. My nights are soooo restless since I started these abxs. Also I never really herxed is this common, it sounds like everyone herxs off the charts, I was thinking maybe I don't have babs.

I still have some lingering Babs and have been on zith/malarone/art. within 12 hours after my first dosing I started to get the sweats again. this intensified up to the 3rd day and then started to level off. I also had some temple vein presure prior to the start of this run of ABX and is is almost gone. Granted, I do know that my babs is not that high but I did have an intesification of symptoms on starting the meds. For what its worth.

Yes this sounds normal ...I had palpitations and sweats at night after starting Mepron too. I think it is die off.
Dr B uses a 5 month course usually as it has ot be this long to get all the Babs. Artemesia or Artemesinin should be added to the combo also.

I had some crazy wild dreams while on Mepron, as well as some big time cardiac herxing. The palpitations leveled off after the first 10 or 12 weeks. I have also had a lot of trouble with insomnia; particularly while on babs treatment. I will sleep fine one night, and then be out of control restless the next 2. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it. I'm now in month 8 of babs treatment. Can't wait to be done with this!!!

Flair up of symptoms or New symptoms is common when starting nw meds for babs-
Not herxing happens in about 20% of folks- Mostly happens in men tho--
I did not herx for about 14 months and I was a little concerned about it-
My LLMD told me not to worry about it--
About 8 months ago I had my first in a long list of herxes now --Ouch--
