Hi, new to this Looking for some advice, have many of the symptoms of lyme - Very tiered all the time, I'm a carpenter and am having trouble making it though a day at work Stiff neck and some swelling in the limfnods Mild headachs Memory loses??? Upper chest pains, like cramping Restless leg syndrome (don't know if that's a symptom) Mood swings, irritability Too much sleep or insomnia Difficulty falling or staying asleep Panic attacks, anxiety, I have had this for years and an on 10mg. paxel a day Extreme fatigue Much back pain Bone pain, joint pain or swelling, carpal tunnel syndrome Stiffness of joints, back, neck, tennis elbow Most of these symptoms I've had for months, but for the last few weeks the fatigue and joint pain are getting very bad My left shoulder has a constant ach and at times goes down my arm, and have aching and clicking in my knees and ankles. Have had blood tests for romatod arthritis, this was clean. And the test for lyme came back negative, but still not convinced, I live in western ma. And know many people with lyme, and who I've talked to thinks it sounds like I have the disease. I am looking for the best way to rule lyme in or out from here? Any help would be appreciated.

Negative lyme test results are not an indication that you do not have the disease.
A clinical diagnosis is necessary. Go to seeking a LLMD(lyme literate medical doctor) in your area.
Mainstream medicine is not equipped nor interested enough in lyme disease to be of any use to anyone afflicted with this disease.
If and when you get an appointment with a llmd and start treatment...a good indication that you are infected is an initial worsening of symptoms and then an abatement of same.
This is called a Jarosch Herxeimer response to killing the bacteria(spirochete)...Borelia Burgdorferi.

Like lymie tony z said you need a llmd to rule out or confirm a lyme diagnosis...
If you have lyme a lyme literate dr is your best chance of regaining your health.
If you go to the seeking a dr section say you need a llmd and the area you are in and are willing to travel to.
(There are a shortage of llmds due to ignorance, arrogance and political bs)
Someone will pm you the info so make sure your pm is working.
Before the appointment I would make a list of all symptoms and if you can remember when each started.

welcome! Did I send you my newbie links/advise; 15 pages? I try to send to all when I come on here daily, and directory will show 5 newbies names at a time; sometimes some slip thru the cracks.
The reason I ask is my extensive 125-150 symptom list another lymie came up with! Would help you a lot to get your thoughts together for your future LLMD appt.
After you get some names, CALL PROMPTLY; many take only ONE NEW PATIENT PER MONTH!
So there is a waiting time where you can spend reading up on the basics of lyme treatment by printing/reading Dr. Burrascano's 05 lyme treatment guidelines; also in the newbie links I sent you.
