My doctor before prescribing it to me had warned me 2 things i must know about this medicine number one he said dont drink alcohol because it can make me deathly sick and number 2 make sure to take a strong vitamin B complex because this medicine deplets your B vitamins and with depleted B vitamins in your body you will feel extremely weak. Just thought id share that with you guys.

But dont take B complex at the same time take it 2or3 hrs after or it binds to abx.

Be careful even of the alcohol in mouthwashes. Check all labels or you will be very ill if you mix the two.

the first time my daughter took flagyl, she drank orange juice with it. She got quite nauseated. Someone told us the next day not to take flagyl with OJ--the body treats it kind of like it's alcohol. We've followed that advice and haven't had any more nausea issues.
