Hi everybody

I just got my drug drop from the iv comp, and i purchased the shower sleeve from the iv comp.

No more tape and cling wrap. Hey!! Pretty sad what is exciting these day.

Forget the shower sleeve. I just used it and water was in the bottom of it, and my dressing is wet.

Nurse was already here once, and now she is coming back because dressing is wet.

I second the Xerosox. It worked really well for me for the 6 months I had my PICC line in 2002 and was in great shape when I had the line pulled.

How does the xerosox work? Did anyone have problems with it getting to tight? I am thinking of ordering one.

Any ideas to keep something over the picc line when working. My son works around hot ovens and pans. He sometimes burns his arms now.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

I bought the xerosox picc line protector and it workered really well. It slides over your arm and comes with a pump to allow for an airtight seal. I did not have any problems with it getting too tight, and was able to wear it swimming.

As far as working with a picc... has your sign tried to cut the elastic part of a tube sock off and slip it over the site? It's a gret solution to protect the line.
