Hi all,

Thanks for all your support. This is a great group.

Brief history, diagnosed early first week July with Lyme based on symptoms: weakness, numbness, brain fog, flu-like symptoms, insomnia. Started on 400 mg Doxy. Had major herx for a few weeks. Leveled off. Started using Rife machine (only once so far) major herx for a day.

BTW Igenex was inconclusive for Lyme and mild positive for Erlichia.

For the past few weeks, nothing much to report. Just minor body aches, and occasional insomnia, but much better overall.

My LLMD wants me to stop abx because it can affect the Rife process. I'm not sure if I'm ready, but my throat is very red from the gastro problems with abx.

I've heard some say that if you aren't progressing, it's time to take a break from abx to see what happens. Then I've heard some say you should be symptom free for 30 days.

I'm torn. I'm also doing a lot of herbs and vitamins to support my immune system.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Atypes

If I herxed I would continue abx treatment for a few months after all symptoms and herx's subsided at least that amount of time.
Depends on how long you were ifected if you were diagnosed clinicaly and didnt see tick or know exactly when you were infected I would do what I said above. If you were infected for a couple of months I would treat at least 15 16 months after symptoms are all gone.

but my throat is very red from the gastro problems with abx.

Yeast problem get eating acidophilis by the handfuls and yogurt I used acidophilis pulled the capsuls apart and let contents melt in mouth it starves out yeast.
Also you may want do get some diflucan for yeast and gargle with hydrogen peroxide half water half hydrogen peroxide dont swallow rinse spit out and rinse again.
Dont take acidophilis at the same time as abx's or diflucan 2hrs after and 2 hrs before. I would take at least 3 acidophilis capsuls at a time and melt one or 2 every couple hrs in mouth.

I don't think so either. Rife could knock it out for you, in my opinion, but just to be safe....I'd ask the dr if you could continue for another month or two.

It's so different for everyone.

I thought 6 weeks would be enough to kill my early diagnosed neuro-lyme, but I was incredibly wrong and have been paying for it.

I felt better for awhile after abx, but I never quite regained all of my pre-lyme abilities. I big-time relapsed, and ended up not being able to dress myself at 23 years old. I do regret only doing 6 weeks. Maybe if I would have gone longer, I could have knocked the disease out of my system.
