How do you get started ordering IVIG treatment?

I would love to have my ins. company pay for the treatment, but where do you begin?

Do you need to find a neurologist (my least-favorite type of doctor), or can your PCP order it?

I get the IVIG under the "MS"dx, one friend gets it under his "CIPD"dx, another friend gets it under her "MG"dx.

Check with your ins to see what "condiditons" are covered for the IVIG. Then go after one of those.
The order doesn't have to been with a neuro doc.


They are the worse to deal with, I have 4 neuro docs tell me NO [tsk] So I went to my internal doc and got the order. If you have a doc that works with you, try them. Don't give up on the first NO
