Hi Everyone...

Should have my results back Tuesday...I was wondering a couple of things...

I paid $390 for igenex lyme WB...I seem to be reading of people paying less? is that true?

Also, some of you probably remember me posting last week about my doc prescribing doxy while I am waiting...but I found out that I have VERY high candida antibodies.

So, I am reluctant to start doxy til I resolve this a bit...any advice?? Any reputable acidophilus you guys take?

Also, for the record, what exactly does IND mean on the test? "Indicated"? "Indecision"? Maybe I am dense but someone help!!! lol

One last thing...I really really really need something to help with anxiety and I have never ever taken any meds in my life except for abx.

I am very sensitive to everything and I don't want anything that will make me feel worse, or dizzier or anything. Any suggestions on something mild but helpful and not super toxic?

Thanks in advance....you guys rock.

Best regards,
Heidi

Howdy, Heidi! I like your nickname "prismvision". I certainly feel like I'm seeing the world through a prism!

I paid $390 too, but it was for both Lyme and Babesia. Did your doc order extra tests for co-infections?

As for the candida, I don't know much there. I sure herxed like the dickens on Doxy though. The probiotics I take are called Jarro-Dophilus EPS. I know they probably aren't as good as some of the more highly recommended ones, but I can afford them.

Also, IND means "Indefinate". In other words, a slight reaction showed up, but it wasn't strong enough to be counted as a positive.

For the anxiety, I have heard a lot of people recommend Klonopin. I don't know much about it though, so hopefully someone else can tell you if it has any funky side effects.

Best wishes!

Best regards, Heidi

Heidi, xanax has really helped for my PANIC attacks that I ddn't have before; attacks lasted 4-6 months only.

Start adolophillus, sp, NOW.
I'm using THER BIOTICS and nystatin.

Ask you MD for 2 copies of your IGX reports: 1 to file away and one to have by your pc where you will read about what the positive nos & IND mean.

$390; you had more than the western blot igm/igg done; perhaps babs as the other person stated.

Make sure you get copies of that too! good luck.
