Dr. B's paper mentions Ester-C as a good type of Vitamin C to take. Is anyone using this type of Vitamin C?
A bottle of NSI Ester-C (that I'm I'm looking at online reads) reads: Vitamin C (as calcium ascorbate)(Ester-C) 1.00 g (1,000.00 mg)...
I feel stupid asking this, but is this Vitamin C a form of calcium? Does this change how much Calcium I need to take? I usually take 1,000 mg of Calcium Citrate per day.
Thanks, Jill

Hi Jill,
I'm also Jill.
The Natrol Ester C is what I take because Ester-C is much more gentle on the GI tract.
I really haven't let it influence my dosage of calcium, but I'll let others chime in on that.
Take care, Jill

Sorry that I don't have a direct answer to your question.
If no one else responds you could try to gooogle ester C & the calcium connection.
I also have a sensitive tummy and although
I don't take ester C I like acid free Vit. C by powder
Kal. It's very concentrated. A tsp is equal to something like 2000mg C. I take a 1/4 tsp at a time.
Take care

I take Ester C, and 1200mg Calcium with D. Neither one influences the dosage of the other for me. CB
