Hi everyone,
I am waiting to hear back from my LLMD and wanted to ask others if they had a CD-57 score of 128 and had IV antibiotics for Lyme?
From what I read from Dr B he said the chronic patient is below 60. I am 128 but these feel like lyme symptoms.
I am thinking this is still lyme. I am on minocycline and flagyl until I hear about what to do next, and am loosing feeling in my body again when in the light.
Head burning in light again, nausea, sick as can be again in light.
I am also having my breathing bad again, and the muscles in my throat are not working like before, and the bell palsy type symptoms
on the left side, as well as face muscle pain again.
thanks,
Trish

Mine is about a 123, but LLMD says it would be too difficult for me to have the IV while taking care of three little kids.
My mom has a CD-57 of 90-something and will be getting the IV abx in the next few months or so.
You can most definitely still have a CD-57 of 128 and be experiencing Lyme symptoms. Very common.

Wow,
Thanks. I had no idea about this. I was under the impression from what I interpretted of others on here that it would be a coinfection.
Maybe it is still lyme.
THANKS, your post really helped me. This test is new here with my LLMD here in Canada and getting info from others that had this test done can then
help me figure out things with the LLMD.

i replied to this issue on your other thread about it.... but to reiterate very briefly: CD57 test can be one factor in looking at tick borne illness, but is NOT used as a definitive Lyme test by any decent LLMD, as far as i know. the bottom line is that we need to remember is that it's a clinical diagnosis, period. choosing what treatment is appropriate cannot be as simple as one number, unfortunately.
by the way, i got your pm, and replied... did you get it? my pm function is completely messed up, so if you do want to reply, use my email: [email protected].
best wishes, flossie
