Hi everyone!
Before being treated with IV my igenex blood work came back positive for lyme. Now after months of fighting babs and lyme the test came back neg. Does this means things are getting better, or worse?

Negative tests do NOT mean you dont still have lyme.
In my opion just as a fellow lymie that if you still have symptoms you still have it.
I let my the quanity and quality of my symptoms inform me of whether or not I am making progress.

Try to imagine if you will tests that regularly fail to recognize a significant amount of Lyme infected people. How would the results of said test be able to accurately determine if one was NOT infected by the same pathogen??????
Hence the statement by the CDC that: "tests should not be used to confirm nor DENY the presence of infection.", and that "Lyme disease is a clinical diagnosis" (see "experienced opinion".).
IMO, until such time as/if there is a cure, once diagnosed, one should assume that they are infected for the rest of their life and live accordingly.

In my opinion only as someone who has been living (and been in treatment) for lyme for significant amount of time.
I agree with welcome - When I am finally well (whatever level of health that will be), I will consider myself to be in remission.

I would say negative test WB is a good news IF you were decently treated with ABX according to your shape AND you are completely symptoms free for several months.
In any other situation be sceptical.

My LLMD has an in-house person who does energenic testing. All of my co-infection testing went negative months ago but still had symptoms. Energenically my infections still tested strong - We have been treating until this is gone - right now my co-infections and lyme are almost gone energenically and sysmptoms are so very low. We will treat until there is no trace.
