I'm taking one twice aday Is there anything that shouldn't be taken with the Malarone to make it less affective?
I was told there's only 25% mepron in malarone, so I'd hate to cut it down even more.

Hi ImLymed,
The only thing I am aware of is CO-Q 10, this should not be taken with Mepron/Malarone. (but check with your LLMD about possible other things)
I did very well with Malarone, I hope you have good results as well. Posts: 6641 | From Michigan | Registered: Jun 2001

I'm not sure possibly, Milk Thistle? And maybe anti-oxidants, in general, so maybe take them away from the Malarone. I may be misremebering this, sorry.
Although, Malarone only has 250 mgs of Ataquavone(same as Mepron) it also has a second anti-malarial, Proguanil. Sounds like a good idea to me to have two.
I'm taking it for about 2 months, now.
Are you taking other meds with it? I hope it works out for you.
