I had surgery on my hand last week, before they operated, they gave me a shot of a mega dose of abx. Came home, and had my period, 2 weeks early, and STILL have it 8 days later, and going strong. Not normal for me to have it this long, had just been tested for menapause, not even close the Doctor said. Question, do you think it`s a herx? Or something like that? Also..night sweats were terrible, do you think that the drugs also made my babesia herx as well? I havent been on meds for that in over a year, nor have I been on drugs for the lyme, I think I have been trying to pretend that I dont have lyme, but right now, I hurt and I`m not a pleasent person to be around. Am going back to Lyme Doctor this week, but figured I would ask this first. Not sure it makes sence, and spelling terrible, but thanks in advance, to any help I get.

Vicki, it's possible that it's a herx but I just had another thought I hope you followed up on?
If I had surgery of any type and was having sweats etc, I would make sure you don't have some other type of infection going on due to the surgery. Does your doc say no to this?
Please double check with both your MD and surgeon asap.
