How many pills have you taken already?

1) 12 (a pack)
2) 12-100
3) more than 100
4) THOUSANDS

Thanks!

I have not taken it myself. It's for the budget calculations, I'm gonna order it myself, each pill from Portugal costs approximately 10 bucks (Fedex included).

Cheaper at above in Canada. Not sure I understand why you are asking about how many?
I have taken it a for a couple of months before switching to Mepron which is very expensive, but more effective.

Hope this helps.

2) about 60 (2 months worth for me)

The best price I've gotten in FL is about $156/30 tabs. That's just over $5 a pill. (Cheaper would be better, though.)

Maybe check around locally first, you might be able to find a discount pharmacy. If I remember correctly the canadian pharmacies were less than $10 cheaper. Easier to go to the corner.

Gads! I didn't know it was that expensive!! I have good a prescription plan, so didn't realize.

I didn't find malarone to do much for me. So don't "over-order." Artemisinin was much more effective for me.

My son has been on Malarone for a long time. He was given it for BAbs treatment. Thank God for good insurance.

And Malarone is the relative on the wrong side of the tracks.

My LLMD told me when he put me on Malarone that it is FAR less expensive than its cousin, Mepron, which I understand is closer to $1,000 per month.

[Eek!] [Eek!]

Unbelievable. How much can this stuff possibly cost to make?

It's not they're expensive to make it's that one company makes them and can charge whatever they like.

Bridges to Access has Patient Assistance plans for both if you are eligible. However, there are quantity limits on Malarone and not on Mepron.

I was approved easily and was able to recieve 16 tablets for the calendar year. [Frown] Yes, it saved me like $70 but it only lasted 2 weeks.

I checked prices on a quite a few websites in other countries, as well, and the price is basically the same everywhere.
