This is the first day of the Jewish New year and the time of year that Jewish people pray for good health and happiness during the coming year. The jewish calendar is lunar that is why it does not coorespond to the gregarian calendar.
SO I WOULD LIKE TO WISH ALL LYMIES A GOOD, HEALTHY AND HAPPY NEW YEAR FROM ME AND MY GOD. PEACE ON EARTH AND GOODWILL TO ALL MEN, WOMEN AND CHILDREN.
ACTUAL YOUR GOD AND MY GOD COME FROM THE SAME PLACE, THE ORIGINAL BIBLE.
AT THIS POINT ALL HELP SHOULD BE TAKEN. LOVE ALL AND BE WELL DOCDAVE130

Doc Dave,
I'm glad you didn't leave us.
The other day there was a post about gifts we've gotten while being ill. I didn't mention this because I knew Rosh Hashana was coming up and someone would wish us a Happy New Year.
Through the example of many wonderful people I've met - teachers, doctors, attorneys, and friends I've found that I fit more into the Jewish belief system than the one I was born into. A few years ago I accepted the Noahide Covenant as my own. So I am in my mind and heart a Binai Noach (a child of Noah).
May this New Year bring us health, wealth, and happiness so we can better fulfill our tikkum olam (mending the world).
May we all recieve many blessings today.
*hugs* Acorn

Hi again DocDave!
I'm not Jewish, but I don't think it makes a difference. We're all suffering here and God's blessings are God's blessings. I'll take all the help I can get!! May God bless you too and everyone else here!
Thanks again! Ali
OH - BTW, I read this post and thought maybe you might have some ideas to help this person cheek bumps & mouth stuff?
