Hi, anyone care to share your Tindamax daily dose and pulse schedule? I have been on Flagyl 500mg 2x per day and just started Tini today.

My NP has me on 1000mg Tini 2X per day- 14 days on then 14 off. I also have been on Ketek 800mg/day continously for 8 months plus will be starting Augmentin XR at 1G 2X per day soon.

I am 16 months into ABX treatment for severe Neuro-Lyme. IV Rocephin got me back alive again and I am trying to make it all the way back now with orals. Thanks for any info!

I haven't been on Tini so I can't comment - but please make sure you are having your liver enzymes checked regularly. Both Ketek and Tini are hard on the liver.

Congratulations on making such good progress!

Jill

Thanks for your concern Jill, yes I get a liver panel every 30 days -- so far the Ketek and Flagyl haven't caused any problems. I hope Tini won't either. Doug

I am on 500 mg of tini twice a day. My pulse is 5 days each month. I really don't notice much change from it and wonder if it is adequate in dose and number of days. Questions for my doctor, I realize.

I do usually notice, however, that by day 5 my sleep is worse than usual (and it is bad to start with) and my mood is starting to plunge. So maybe what I'm doing is what I can comfortably handle.

Overall, I'm doing pretty well. Mainly neuro/cognitive and balance problems left. It would be nice to go into a room and actually know why I was there.
