I posted about the pain of the actual bicillin injection (thanks for the replies) but also wanted also to know if anyone has experienced bone pain and/or severe muscle pain for a few days after the injection. (all over) The shot is much easier for me than orals, but the pain is unbearable at times. After 7 months on treatment and various antibiotics I feel worse than when I started. I also deal with yeast issues and take Diflucan and probiotics. I do not take any pain relievers. I also have weakness in one leg and one arm. Holy Moley does this end? Love the forum !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks Heather, I am assuming from the number of replies that I'm in a minority of muscle pain and bone aches, which always makes me to believe I have something else going on.
Hope it's a herx ! Love the kitty!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have had such pain in the long bones that I walked the floor day and night for months. I have been in a ten year decline until I found this site and its wealth of info and caring people.
My right side, arm shoulder hand, is almost paralysed. Do not feel alone...this Lymiebean is suffering with you. The pain in my bones is so bad sometimes I have to cry out. I do take opiates for sometime relief, but the constipation is lifethreatening to me so I only take them when my husband hears me cry.
Nine nights out of ten, I come out of a short tortured sleep with an icepick stabbing me in the heart. I could write paragraphs on all the crazy symptoms these bugs have caused me.
For instance, someone possted about olefacctory hallucinations. I have them too. But for me they trigger huge emotional tidalwaves around the memories these remembered scents arouse. Perhaps as the bacteria move into the brain center where all this is stored,,,well,,,nibble, nibble...poop,poop, and that stimulation sends out all those stored memories.
Don't let the crazy effects of these bugs get you down. I have found so much comfort on this site. I wish I could offer more .Here's this: When you think you are suffering alone, probably I am up sufferring too.

I have very bad muscle pain in my legs from Lyme (or maybe one of the coinfections). The Bicillin doesn't seem to be helping or worsening it for me.
Some people herx tremendously on Bicillin, I don't.
I can relate to bone pain. I don't have it with Lyme, but I had excrutiating bone pain with chronic fatigue syndrome in the 1980s/1990s, which now I think could have been Lyme. The bone pain was so bad I went to the doctors thinking I had cancer.
Since my tick bite in 2003, I have entirely different symptoms - no bone pain. But I totally empathize with it - I used to say that no one understands the degree that one's own body can torture them until they get that kind of pain.
Well, now I have that kind of pain with burning nerves!
I wish I had words of wisdom but can only send hugs.
Jill

The bicillin is either killing the bugs, or making me worse with many new symptoms. The bone and muscle pain along with the weakness in my hand and leg is unbearable. Is it the Bi or a herx ???? Oh MY My !!!!!
Also, if I don't stop crying I'm going to admit myself somewhere soon. What's up with the tears overflowing on my pillow?
