If spirochetes love sugar, and you stop eating sugar & simple carbs, will they come out through your skin if you soak in a tub with sugar water?

I don't know if there is any solid scientific evidance support this: 'spirochetes love sugar', in contrast, Bb lacks the genes that are required for using suger.
On the other hand, carb has been the biggest energy source for us human beings and other animals.

Here's my recipe for spirochete soup:
Nice hot bath with electrolites (calcium, magnesium, potassium and a little sodium) and maybe some oatmeal, milk and sugar.
Soak well, maybe 20 minutes to 1/2 hour.
Then dump in a big old box of sea salt and some vitamin-C and mix well. (You have to kill them before they can get back in)
Turn on the shower & rinse well.
Isn't it nice to dream?

To my knowledge, this has not been empiracally tested. There is some crediblity within the train of thought here, but there are many different applicable varaibles to consider.
One, do spirochetes know the difference between inorganic and organic material ie: a tub filled with water and sugar has only one organic material, sugar, because sugar contains Carbon.
Once again, interesting thought, but, we need testable experiements before any conclusions can be made.
As an example, I do not personally believe that such a treatment could cure Lyme Disease. However, if even small amounts of spirochetes actaully did transverse the skin into the water for sugar, what have we learned?
I suggest we have learned something which governs their behvior in a way similar to a magnet.
Now, why did this event occur? Why did the event occur only half way? Were the spirochetes which were removed, the only bacterium with sufficient energy to move? Or were they the bacteriums in most need of sugar?
Out of the box thinking is not bad, but we need to follow up on each idea by examining the logical basis for any arguement. Also, we must understand that such thought may not produce a radical cure, but they can give us insight into the behavior of the diseases we carry.
The greater we understand our enemy, the better we are at designing therapies designed to target all of their weaknesses, and remove all their defenses.

Isn't sugar absorbed through the skin? I saw this on Merv Griffin or Michael Douglas show when I was kid.
Seems like it's true because when I bake candy or cookies, when there done I don't want any cause feel like already had bunches without eating any.
What else do spirochetes bind to or like in the body? Not sure.
What do they not like? Atb's,heat,salt,electric shock. O2? Alkaline environment?
What has been reported in past that kills them? A Russion physicist reported that liquer killed it. It was reported that IV baking soda in dogs with lyme cured them. People are saying salt anc c in time cures them. The western fence cleanses the tick of it. I'm sure there are more noted cures and kills than this.

Very interesting thought. Why are we allowing them to evolve at all? Giving them what they don't want allows them evolutionairy pressure to evolve.
Why then, don't we give them what they desire? They would not have to exert the energy required to survive things the dislike, and they would use the energy they do have to move towards something which is evolutionairily favorable to the spirochete's survival.
The question is best posed above, What do spirochetes like?
We have thought much about what they do not like, but, what about the other side of the question, what do they enjoy?

Think of setting a trap for a mouse, a piece of cheese is placed on a trap. Or, another example, one from human history, remember the trojan horse. It was taken into the city of troy because it was desired, and everyone believed it to be favorable.
However, hidden beneath was something very unfavorable, both to the mouse, and to the citizens of Troy.
Unfortunatly, for such a trap to be set, it can only work efficiently a set number of times before this idea is set in the minds of our enemies.
That simply means we must uncover several different varieities of trojan horses. If we create enough varieities within this train of thought, eventually, the equation reaches critical mass such that resistance is futile. The bacteria simply cease to exist, because there was no other alternative possible.

They robbed me,changed me,and tortured me.But their weakness is that they have not yet killed me.

I just have to say after reading this thread that I am getting my birthday suit on, filling the tub with chocolate ice cream (keeping out a scoop for my mouth of course) and slathering my warm bagel with butter.

Dude, are you kidding me, of course I'm serious. The reason I'm serious is because I believe in testable experiementation for the advancement of science. The reason I believe in science is because I don't believe in the IDSA, who frankly, choose not to believe in science.
Basically, my point is such that there exists no reason whatsoever that we can't pick apart Lyme Disease much like a disecting a frog in biology class. What reason is there to suggest we can't understand the innermost secrets within this disease. What purpose is there to suggest that our experiements don't work?
Anyone can do science, so long as they can remain resonably objective, and the results they report, if done in exactly the same way by others, are repeatable.
Now, I'm not suggesting the water with suger idea will work, but I am suggesting that ideas do work, and until we start comming up with them, and all of us testing theories(only testing theories which seem safe and have been reported to be successfull from trusted members) and repeating them, how are we going to amass the knowledge needed to lay our enemies (both the IDSA and the Disease within) at our feet?
Are you with me? I am tired of letting this disease control the lives of everyone living around the country. I can't change the IDSA, but I can change the actions I take against my disease.
They refuse to study our illness, fine. I can't change that. But, together we don't have to accept that science will have to dwindle because a group of people have said that it should be this way.
Are they so powerfull that we will sit in our homes and allow them to experiement with our lives?
I'm finished being the rat, long ago I put the disease in the rat cage and the science produced has been extremely helpfull. Everyone of us has the intellect, the abilty, and the desire to solve problem number 1. What exactly is Lyme Disease doing in our bodies? Problem 2, are we able to cure ourselves based upon the knowledge we have gathered, or can we come up with a reasonably unique model of disease based upon the gathered data from all of us? Problem 3, with this data, how do we get a clinical trial? Problem 4, how quickly can we get those who have held us in agony fired?

Well, this reminds me of the conversation I had with the San Diego Vector Control guy (well, not the part about the chocolate in the bathtub...)
I kept trying to get him to go to the neighborhood where I was bitten - I know the exact location. He said they drag the ground to check for ticks all over San Diego and have never found one with Lyme (despite the statistics from the California Dept. of Health I read to him with confirmed Lyme tick locations).
He said, we just don't know what they like.
So I said, "Well, they obviously like my friggin' shin because that's where I was bitten!!"
Showing that sometimes the obvious is the answer!
But I still like the idea of soaking ourselves - and them - in Chocolate Haagen Dazs.
And by the way, why must scientists refer to us as the Hosts for the tick? As if we are Martha Stewart, inviting the critters over for dinner.
OK, I feel better now. But I'll feel better after that chocolate bath.
And LymeScience, I agree that we know more about this disease than most doctors do and it would not surprise me if a patient came up with the answer. Remember the parents' who came up with Lorenzo's Oil for their sick son?

Lymetoo, as much as I love teaching science. The one thing I think about every single day is how can I complete with Lyme Disease the same task Lorrenzo's brave father did with ALD?
I don't care right now about teaching the society at large because they have mostly ignored us. Besides, my talents lie in the sciences. Strangly enough, the sciences are easier for me than normal human chatter. I figure this happened because the evolutionairy pressure exerted through my struggle to teach myself science in the worst of my disease led to a kind of induced mini-autusim with my facination with logic, science, and numbers. I was never like that before I got sick. I was good with numbers, but now, the way my brain has adapted to scientic thought is almost foreign when I think of my personality pre Lyme. But, in my desire to clean myself of this disease, I read, and read, and read, and all of it was scientific. I kept reading until I understood in the evening that which I had not known in the morning. This process continued for years.
So today, when I wake up from a dream, my dream was about the exact cause and effect relationships that define the very nature of physics, evolution and biology.
Years ago, I awoke from a dream about having ears made of chocholate.
I don't know if I will ever regain my talent for smalltalk, and though I've gained a rather unique aptitude for science, this wasn't something I chose. But one thing can be said for certain, it happened, and I intend to use it against this disease because I don't fear Lyme Disease anymore. If it can do what it did to me, I'm not gonna sit and let the damned disease do all the punching. I've got gloves as well.
