I tried to pick up my son's prescription of clarithromycin ER tonight only to be told that it has been pulled off the market. The pharmacist I need to talk to will not be back in until Monday. Anybody know anything.

Biaxin XL is still available (but my pharmacy doesn't have any tonight [Frown] ).

Weird! I haven't heard anything about this... couldn't find anything on Google either.

Anybody else got a clue?

I've been waiting since 10/5 to get mine refilled. Keep saying it will be in tonight, etc. Haven't been back in a few days so I haven't heard it was pulled. I'll check tomorrow. Thanks for the update.

Do you know when it was allegedly taken off that market? Cave76 might be right and you should check another pharmacy. I just got mine refilled a couple weeks ago without a problem but maybe when I get a refill in a couple weeks it will be?

This stuff never gets any easier!
