I have been mostly a lurker for months but thought that I'd add an up story.

I think that things are starting to turn around. I hate to say this because when I am feeling good I usually nosedive, but we'll see.

I went hunting yesterday and they still had the crops in so I WALKED 3/4 of a mile to my tree stand, climbed a tree, and then walked 3/4 of a mile out and I never broke a sweat!!! Getting the mail used to be a painful struggle 6 months ago.

I have been experiencing "new" muscle pains reminiscent of working out instead of myalgia and arthritis. My muscles feel firm and strong again.

I am sleeping now uninterrupted, for about 7 hours, and don't take naps anymore during the day. I am having dreams again and don't wake up in the night to move my dead arms around.

My mood has definitely improved too. I can now include myself in B.S. sessions after work with the guys instead of hating everything. I still find it difficult to smile at times but a few are working their way out. The girls at the office said that they can tell a difference and I'm not so grumpy.

My body temp has been closer to 98.0 instead of 97 and 96. So I am getting somewhere.

I still have pages of symptoms that hinder me from being me, but I think I am off the bottom -- for now.

My current arsenal includes Azithromycin, Heparin, Cortef, Nystatin, Armour Thyroid, DHEA, B-12, Daily vitamin.

I still have painful hand cramps and joint pains, floaters, memory and thinking problems, IBS, High blood pressure (162/102), and internal vibrations, but things are looking up.

Possible infection in '98. Definite reinfection 1/06 itchy red streak from tiny bloated tick. Negative Elisa 2X. Clinical diagnosis by Dr C. 7/06. Immediately showed some signs of improvement.

Thanks for reading.

BOB

Bob,

Thanks for sharing how you are getting better.
It's always so nice to hear a good report.

Your body temperature tells it all!

I started with a body temp. of 96 and am now up to around 97.4.

Keep up the good work ~ Sandy

Great to hear the good news.

I can relate to not having the patience for joking around. Other than dark humor with family about this disease.

Glad you are starting to get out and do what you love.

Hate to say it but be careful for the ticks.

Bob,

Thanks for sharing the good news! [woohoo] It's always good to hear people are doing well. Gives us a smile.

Now I do hope you are using some darn good bug repellant when you are out hunting?

SML...thanks for the good news...

Intersting point about BODY TEMP.

Also sub 97....Many of my friends with Lyme are sub 97 degress...And many that post here are 97 or lower. What the heck is making this happen ?

Here we are with a Bacterial infection...Do the ketes set are thermostat at their perfect temp? Or do the ketes mutate into a viral form?

Keep on keepin on..
