I have Mepron left over from 11 months ago, is there a shelf life?
I've taken Malarone for two months and it seems to be helping with the babs, so if I could hit it with the Mepron I think it would be a big help, but it's so expensive I hate to throw what I have out.
Do you have to worry about yeast taking Mepron or Malarone?
Thanks ImLymed

don't quote me on this, I'm not a doctor.... but I'm pretty sure Mepron, itself, doesn't have any effect on yeast -- it works on the red blood parasites...not bacteria. However, it is usually prescribed WITH a macrolide antibiotic, which is where the yeast comes in....

Hi
My LLMD (very experienced) said that Mepron lasts for years after the use by date so it would be okay to take for a good while.
you could call the pharm and ask if they could look it up for you.
it's like gold at $700.00 a bottle, you could pay it forward to someone who cannot afford it.
