I see Podi-pads mentioned for foot pain that occurs with Bart. I googled but could not find much information. Are these for heel pain? The pain I experience is mainly on the whole sole of the foot but the entire foot hurts when I first awaken.

Also, those of you who have tested positive for Bart, what are the main symptoms?

Sadie

Podi Patches and other detox foot pads supposedly help with overall body detoxification.

However, some of us, including myself, have been using them to try to decrease foot pain. I developed heel pain, then sole soreness, then Achilles Tendon pain while on and months after Bartonella medications.

I have burning throughout my entire body and it seemed to have worsened in my feet and soles from either the Bartonella or the Bartonella medications.

I have heard from some of the famous Lyme doctors that heel pain is common with Lyme and sore soles can be indicative of Bartonella - especially sole problems in the morning.

I've only been using the Podi Patches every now and then but I do believe they have lessened my feet soreness and burning to some degree.

Also, Lyme can hide in parts of the body that don't get much circulation or oxygen so feet can also be bothered by Lyme.

My Lyme doc and I are beginning to think that many of my central nervous system symptoms and nerve symptoms may be more due to Bartonella than Lyme or Ehrlichia, because they are not responding too well to Lyme and Ehrlichia treatment.

For me, I have almost total body burning, plus more recently developed tremors, myoclonic body jerkings and increased muscle twitching.

I've never had the lymph node enlargement or soreness that some people get with Bart.

Hope this helps,
Jill
