Now you guys are getting my point.
The only industry I can see who stands to gain by blocking longterm abx is insurance companies. And again, as you are all pointing out, they don't have to stoop to underhanded tactics. They can and do legally and openly limit and direct treatment all the time.
I'm surprised Big Pharma isn't openly campaigning for longterm abx use. The longer the better. What a profit boon for them. And you are right that their research dollars are not focused on cures but on managing symptoms. Much more profitable than curing you.
They should not be allowed to research and educate our doctors.
My question is legitimate and honest. What do doctors have to gain by barring other doctors from treating you with longterm abx? What? You all get mad at me for asking, but no one gives me a logical answer.

although I think I already gave you answers to your questions.
You say big pharma would be pushing abx therapies...
Well if they don't and as you and others say big pharma treats us symptomatically...then their profit margins go up exponencially everytime a lymie is refused abx.
Think of the poly symptomatic disease that it is!
Whereas an abx may cure the patient.
There's much more profit in keeping the patients infection where it is and treating those patients symptomatically....
NOW do you get it...or are you gonna ignore my reasoning again!?
OH please don't make me take you by the hand and walk you down the lane of reasoning.
Do some research and logical thinking on your own.
These subjects have been hashed out lots of times.
Sorry if you think I bashed you...but I'm a little tired of rehashing antiquated arguments on these subjects cuz some folks won't do their homework. My BAD.
