Hi everyone, I was wondering if any of you get bladder problems or at least it feels like it is your bladder.
Four years ago I was in the hsopital with strep.B in my bladder with catheter which damaged my tubes and somehow since then I have been having problems to pass water like I used to.
Its like my sphincter get stuck and the flow doesn't go properly, but it comes and goes.
Of course I had all the urinological tests done and nothing is wrong.
Sometimes I get really bloated in my lower abdomen and it stings just above my bladder as if someone is putting a sharp knife, I wonder if it could be my intestines swelling and pressing on my bladder, coz i also get really bad IBS, is that typical Lyme/Bartonella to get bladder problems?
I noticed that everytime I get the Bicillin shot the next day its harder to pass water.
I also have days where I cannot be bothered to talk, it feels too tiring and I have these weird sensations of being bored...does anyone get that?
Thank you for your help, Maude

yes, i have bladder problems. the bladder is a MAJOR symptom of mine.
i was diagnosed with IC in May 06....and there are a few others on this site with IC also.
When i first started antibiotics it felt like i was paralyzed in my bladder....stream was so slow and it felt like i had all this pressure built up.
Now this happens less often, and i follow a strict diet, so my bladder does not hurt so much.
I would suggest checking out this site and see if you have any of the symptoms of IC.
that being said, the lyme bacteria is very iritationg to the bladder, so as it is killed the bladder gets even more iritated. The lyme also likes to hide from the immune system in the bladder, attaching to the bladder lining.
Hope this helps
