After many months of antibiotics, and now off for 3 weeks due to intense yeast, I have developed the worse bone pain. To the point of tears. I feel like I am taking a teaspoon of cement a day because I am so stiff. It is getting harder and harder to climb stairs and I can hear my bones snap, crackle and pop.
After 1 year my MRI of my spine has shown osteoarthritis, but I can hear the bones in my legs, neck and wrists. It sounds like they are splitting.
Since the results of my MRI I have started Mag, Calcium, Phos and Vit K. (about 2 weeks ago)
Is there any chance that the bone is rebuilding with the supplements and vits ?
I am exhausted with the pain !
Back to the LLMD on Friday, but if he says it's related to lyme I think I'll flip. These symptoms are all fairly new in the past 2 months or so.
I can't sleep because my hips hurt.
I'll stop whining now and wait for anyones helpful suggestions or thoughts.
I deathly afraid I have some type of bone degenerative disease or bone cancer.
Thankxxxxxxxxxxx

I have experienced bone, joint, and muscle pain from the lyme.
So it is a possibility that since you are off abx that the lyme is presenting with new/worse symptoms.
If I were you I would call the llmd and explain what is happening - he may want to see you sooner.

Bone pain is a common description for many lymies. Hot baths in epsom salts, jacuzzi's, etc., provide some temporary relief. Everyone's different as far as what works for pain.
Have your doc prescribe pain meds [low count in case they don't work], it's trial and error.

I have Lyme of course, and degenerative disc. disease, a multitude of back, hip problems..also, My very worst pain in severe hip pain -much worse on right than left.
I recently got a MRI of both hips and they found several masses ,lesions , cyts in both hips. Also bi-lateral carpal tunnel, bulging disc's, etc.The hip is the worst.
The other significant thing was cyst in the lower nerve root sleves 6th-7th, and 7th-8th I think it was. The MRI states unknown if its affecting the 7th nerve roots.I am hoping this find will shed some light on the severe hip pain.
I also have facet area arthritis, cysts in the nerve root sleeves - lumbar area. Spondylisis, loss of cervical lordosis in neck. etc.
I am as you described in your post.
I had the very same feelings and concerns as you stated ,also wondered if it could be something else entirely such as a bone cancer or something yet understood or uncovered..I have not yet discovered anything like that though.
Up till now it was all thought to be related to lumbar pain and I had much of this pain start after floraquinalones especially, disc's and back problems, hip, wrists became worse.
I do not have the answers as yet but with the recent MRI's taken have discoved all the cysts, masses, lesions within the hips..
But the pain feels to be more in the actual bones as you stated so it may be similar.
I am planning on having anything removed/repaired that is possibly behind the pain.
I am very fed up with living this way. I hope this was useful info , you may want to check by MRI and see if you see the masses and others things.
I am currently getting wrist work done because of a bunch of wrist problems , incl. cysts, ganglion cysts,Thick torn ligament, and a perforation. On top of that I have bilateral carpal tunnel w/ tons of nerve damage etc.
Not sure what they will be doing exactly about it all but my appointment is coming up with the Dr. I was refered to for the wrists- I am guessing they will operate .
Next I will see what can/ needs to be done on the hips. Take care
