NOTE TO OGIGINAL POST:
1. I CLEARLY MARKED THE POST WITH QUESTION MARK
2. MY FIRST SENTENCE IS CLEARLY A QUESTION IF IT IS OK TO OFFER LEFT OVER MEDS. SO MY POST WAS JUST A QUESTION WHAT TO DO IN A VERY NEW SITUATION FOR ME OF NOT NEEDING ANY "CONVENTIONAL MEDICATIONS" FOR TREATMENT OF LD AND OTHER CO-INFECTIONS.
3. I FOLLOWED THE INFORMATION OF RESPONDING MEMBERS OF THIS FORUM.

ORIGINAL POST:
I would like to know if it is OK to offer several month of unopened, unused medications for the treatment of LD, Babs, and othe co-infections.

I kept my delivery schedule when I stopped taking all my Rx due to almost full recovery, as I didn't believe I could feel so good for so long.

I have multiple abx - oral and IVs, and other comonly used drugs for treatment. I have all receipts, as I had to pay cash - Medicare didn't cover it. I would hate to see it go to waste, as it was expensive.

Please let me know on my e-mail: [email protected]

Hey Petra,
As you know lyme is a relapsing disease. I would hang on to my meds just in case. I don't want to sound pessimistic about your recovery but this is a terrible disease that likes to play games with us and pop up during stressful times.

Just my two cents...I am so glad you are feeling better and will pray for the permanent recovery!

Bless
Kim

Petra,

It is illegal to sell or give prescription drugs to another person. There are some organizations that accept unopened prescriptions for either clinics or international use.

I'm not sure what those organizations are, but you might want to ask your doctor or pharmacist if they know of any.

Aniek is right about that, but here are some ideas for donations:

If there is a free clinic in your area, they will often accept donations of unopened, sealed, medical supplies, happily. I'm not sure about unsealed medication bottles, though. Call your local health dept to ask about this option.

You can call your local hospital to find out if there is an organization in your area sending medical supplies to countries in need - my local hospital does that, as well. I think they will accept unsealed items (not sure about that, though).

Hi Joe

I talked to her on the phone this morning - she didn't sound phony to me. Not to mention why would anyone post there phone number publicly if they were not for real?

Hi Joe, yes I'm the same person. If I would be sick as I was last 12 years I would not be cleaning my medicine cabinet of a size of a walking closet.I don't need any meds at all, so why to keep them.

Yesterday marked 10th month for me taking an amazing product, never used for LD before (or nobody from this forum and other US and European forums),called FrequenSea.

I'm sorry you got upset hearing about my joyous moment, when I found out what made me well and allows me to have a productive life full of fun.

I used to look for the recovery stories from other patients, they always gave me hope, made me survive one more day.I don't know how much and how long you are sick and how much you know about LD and co-infections. If the treatment would be so straight forward, we wouldn't be sharing our experiences, we would not need to search for new innovative approches. I even wouldn't need to sell my house to pay for my medical treatments.

But I know I was quite angry, when I got disabled and when I got diagnosed. So may be at that time I may sound like your mail today. Don't worry, that face did pass and I could soon laught about it.

I wish you full recovery on whatever you are doing, and please share with others if there is something so simple and inexpensive like FrequenSea, which would deliver quality of a normal life. I personaly would like to have your formula of living symptom free from LD, just in case some of my friends don't respond to FrequenSea to the extend as I did.

I'm glad you are doing so well, keep up good job. I don't wish on anybody to go though what I had to deal with (and most of the members in this forum). And if you are not doing so well, you can rest asure I'm having great time using a product I didn't know anything else about than that healed my friend's terminal cancer and he can enjoy life the way I can now too.

P.S. I can't erase your e-mail/phone number from my folder of LD patients I have previously had either e-mail or phone contact in one on one conversation, as you don't provide your profile information. So if I don't get that, I'm sorry you would have receive updates on my wellbeing and enjoyment of life after lyme. Trust me if that is the worst thing, what happened to you(as the tone of your mail suggests), you don't know how other people from my personal folder suffer and still care about others.
