Gigi, it's always good to remember not to skip trace minerals. Thanks for the info. Selma

Natural sea salt is a healthy replacement (needed trace elements)for ordinary table salt. Cambells soup has changed to sea salt. Good job Cambells!

I agree that these are critically important. I have used:
Biotics Multi-mins Pure Encapsulations Mineral 650 KMT Minerals
I know that Designs for Health also has good mineral products though I have not used them to date.

Goat Whey, Whey Cool from Designs for Health, Complete Mineral Complex from Designs for Health, KMT Minerals Plus, Multi Mins. Not just one, but several different ones. Digestive aids.
If you can't get well, somehow, get a hair analysis by Trace Elements. That will give you the fine details. If you are missing a single one or a couple, detoxing anything is hampered a little or severely.
My husband could not detox heavy metals very easily. He was missing germanium and another one. Not the food intake created that insufficiency, but the digestion/absorptrion - though he never showed any outward sign of digestive problems. Just adding the missing ones in the proper form brings it up rapidly and the body starts to function/eliminate again.
No, it's not caused by Lyme Disease. It's caused by malabsorption, food containing a fraction of the minerals that it used to when our soil was still healthy, etc. etc.
It is something not to be overlooked. Just taking some minerals is not enough if you can't seem to get out of the hole and recover. Some element is missing.
Take care.
You might want to read the articles on the Trace Element site. Do a search for other mineral analyses. Do something positive for yourself rather than continuing the negative discussions and reiteration of how bad this all is!!!
