Gotta be a herx...I can tell because of that "eighteen wheeler syndrome!"
I usually had that or the FREIGHT TRAIN syndrome. Very similar diseases!
Seriously, you don't know how long the herx will last. I do hope your LLMD believes in backing off the meds when a herx becomes too difficult to handle.
Slow and steady wins the race.

Hi Kelly--boy can I relate. I was just put back on IV rocephin and four days at 2gs is absolutely KILLING ME!!!
I went home on my break from work today, hooked myself to infuse and broke down crying so hard it took me 45 minutes to pull myself together enough to call work and let them know I'd be a little late!
I can barely write, speak, walk. I'm dizzy, exhausted, weepy, depressed. I can't get off the pot! I'm an absollute zombie mess--even I don't want to be around me.
I can honestly say I don't know how we function most of the time...
I can say though, that it DOES get better over time. I've been there before...It's never easy though is it?
