So sorry for your suffering! Can you take anti-yeast medicine or have you exhausted them by now? Can your LLMD be of any help?

I do feel good on diflucan,
BUT the abx are for a strep infection.
im also on Prometrium- progesterone hormone , which interacts with some of the azoles, since it is hard on the liver too.
Ive pretty much exhausted the yeast route.......
today woke up with horrible acid reflux.
Im exposed to tons of mold here too.
thanks

You might want to try Cumanda. It really reduced my thrush.

I woke up this morning and felt a lot better. Then around the same time things hit yesterday they did again today.
Im thinking something im eatiing maybe causing me some pain, but i dunno. Could just be the waxing and waning of this crap.
Defered pain from the bladder cant be ruled out either.
my stomach is a bit swollen and im 98lbs....its so odd and a bit scary. as i used to weigh 92lbs.

sorry to hear this CANT!
what is your status regarding ovarian cysts and endo?
Where are you in your cycle?
how long did you take the prometrium?
how long did you take the amoxy?
I had TERRIBLE itching and discharge and my entire pelvis swelled and i had a fever two weeks ago. I had catheterized (as in super clean catch) urine cultured and vag swab cultured and there was NO YEAST and NO bacteria. I thought for SURE i had PID.
anyhooo--they did find a huge ovarian cyst...and all the docs tell me this is the cause of all of this there. It is effecting my hormones so that my vag isnt getting the right balance and feels all itchy and yuckie.
so let me know that answers to my many questions....you might be harboring an ovarian cyst that is pressing on your bladder (mine is---OUCH) and causing your hormones to whack and your vag to go bonkers too.
PS--I had terrrrrrible tummy 2 weeks ago too with lots of upsetness and gurgling and gas and bloating and diahreah. it has subsided now that the cyst is starting to settle and be reabsorbed by my body.
I'll shut up now and let you talk!

Hi cantgiveupyet--I hear your concern about yeast and just wanted to give you a bit of hope on that front. I was completely incapacitated as a result of a systemic candida infection in my pre-lyme life.
I literally did not leave my bed for over a year because of it. It wasn't until my then doctor recommended the candida diet and protocol on the whole approach website--his patients had had a lot of success with it.
It took me a full two years to recover 100%, but I was 80% better after 8 months. That program gave me my life back and what I learned about candida and health from the forum they have was invaluable.
i honestly think you should have a look at it if candida is a serious issue for you--I found so much hope and wellness on that site:
I would try any and all natural anti-yeast meds. And maybe go on the forum that ashley mentioned.
Hang in there!

Hey trails-
to answer your questions-
I was diagnosed with the horrid IC may 2006 a long with vulvar vestibulitis. A lovely combo.
all of my vaginal symptoms started after a bought of bacterial vaginosis while i was on doxy. bad bad burning etc.
My hormones are beyond wacked...havent had a period since june of 2006....last hormone panel had my progesterone at a .8 which is post menapause...im only 31!!!
many dr said i was too thin to get a period.
It took me 1.5 years before a dr even ordered a hormone panel...even though i told 3 gyn and 2 urogyn's how my periods were NOT normal....i didnt get cramps anymore, and the flow was so light. They looked at me like i had five heads.
I keep hoping that the hormone will help all these problems.
So llmd has me on progesterone after ordering an ultra sound and it showing thickened uterine lining. Im on day six of it.
I know on my last MRI i had a small cyst on left ovary.
My thyroid is messed up although armour thyroid helped a lot. My whole endocrine system is very messed up..
I'm an odd ball and a tough case for all dr, they cant figure out what is causing the vaginal iritation...since its on the upper part.
Im on strict diet...mostly veggies. Im going to add oregano oil into the mix.
Ive been worse then this for sure, but ive also been a lot better too!
Not to mention this was a liquid med and possibly could have upset the stupid bladder. too many variables.
