Also, according to a newspaper article my friend send me from VA on the 8th of this month, they are expecting it to be picked up by the Discovery Channel. Is Kris still around on these boards?

We've temporarily removed the trailer from the Open Eye homepage while we work on editing.
The film is looking great so far, and we hope to have a rough cut in the spring. (We're still seeking finishing funds, so put us on your year-end, tax-deductable giving list.)
I'll let you know as soon as we have a broadcast date.
I know it takes time for editing and post-production work.....but why does it take so long? Many of us have been viewing the trailer for months, just waiting.
So many of us are continuing to be so sick and no one understands. If we could alert the media to this documentary now, and tell them the date it will be shown, we might get a LOT of coverage going in individual markets.
Is there any way this can come out before spring, 2007???
And, can WE be the first ones to view the uncut movie, even before it comes out on TV, to give our opinions on the content? Think of our site as an online focus group...to cut rough edges and make sure the message is one you want to send.
We can help you with this as we live this disease every day, every hour, every minute.
Our lives are being lost, so many of us whose families, friends, bosses, co-workers think we should be better now. They had patience, up to a point.
But even my best friend said to me yesterday..."you did the IV and the pills, you say you can't do anything even now. Aren't you better yet?"
The answer, "no, I am not".
She doesn't understand why and neither do I.
But I will persevere! We just need this documentary to come swiftly so we can get attention to our illness. Posts: 867 | From PA | Registered: Jan 2006

Kris,
Just another thought, but have you considered selling DVD's of the documentary? You could sell them at a higher price than a normal DVD, saying that the proceeds would be going towards that film.
I know I would pay extra to get my hands on a copy and it may help bring in some more revenue, even from those that have already sent a donation.

I would buy several dvd's for myself, family, friends and doctors who misdiagnosed me.
